Modern Métis Woman accepts artistic content from any artist. We also promote and encourage content that relates to our community and the empowerment of Métis Women. As an organization we are looking for any form of creative expression including, but not limited to; art, poems, music, stories, photos, and paintings. These expressions will be hosted and posted upon submission. As the creator, you will receive full credit and can use our site as a reference to your published works.

As an organization, we are continuously seeking and redefining definitions that makes the Modern Métis Woman. The objective of Modern Métis Woman is to provide a creative space for Métis women to contribute work that reflects their traditions, heritage and life experiences. With the support from various Canadian Métis communities we hope to honor the lives of existing and pre-existing Métis Women throughout these empowering pieces.

Submitted Work:

The copyright ownership in the referenced submitted work belongs to the artist, and all credit will be given to the artist.
The Author or Designee, with the consent of all co-authors, hereby transfers and allows the publication of such submissions to modernmetiswoman.com on products and vehicles that modernmetiswoman.com owns, including but not limited to, the website and web publications. This includes all versions in any format now known or hereafter developed. If the manuscript, art or submission is not accepted by modernmetiswoman.com or withdrawn prior to acceptance by modernmetiswoman.com this transfer will be null and void.
