Terra Kerani. 2016. Acrylic on Canvas. ‘Together we Fly.’ Terra Kerani has walked an eclectic path that weaves together art, graphic design, and holistic health. She was raised in the Métis prairie heartland of Saskatchewan (Scottish, Polish, Irish and Swampy Cree). Her grandmother was a native Swampy Cree speaker from Cumberland House, SK and her mother was born in The Pas, MN. Terra and her family always identified as Métis and have worked to further the cultural and social rejuvenation of the Métis culture in Canada.
